The Employee report shows one person's record. To find out who has gone quiet, you would have to open it for every rep, every day. Team performance does that check for you. It reads what everyone logged, ranks them, and pulls out the people who need attention with the reason in words. You then open the employee report only for those people.

Like the employee report, it judges named people, so only administrators can open it.

Check the team

Pick the period

Select Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month or Last month. The page opens on Last 7 days, which is the one to check each morning. The dates it counted and the number of working days in them show at the right.

Choose whose standing to compare

Under Compare, each role someone holds has a switch with the number of people in it. Switch a role off to leave it out. People are only ranked against the others on the list, so switching off the managers ranks reps against reps. At least one role always stays on.

Read the tiles

Three tiles count the list: Needs attention, On track and Doing well. Select a tile to show only those people. Select it again, or Show everybody, to see the whole list.

Act on a person

Each line gives the person's standing and the reasons for it. Select their name or Open report to open their Employee report over the same days. Select the envelope to email them.

The list

The list starts with the highest score. Select a column heading to sort by it, and select it again to reverse the order. Search by name, code or role narrows the list.

ColumnWhat it shows
EmployeeTheir name, role, and who they report to.
StandingNeeds attention, On track or Doing well. The reasons for needing attention are listed in red. For anyone else, what they lead the list on is listed in green.
Score0 to 100. How they compare with the others on the list (see below).
Days outDays with at least one visit, out of their working days. Days marked off on their travel plans are shown underneath.
VisitsVisits in the period. Underneath, the change against the same number of days before.
SchoolsDifferent schools visited, out of the schools they are accountable for.
Last visitThe date of their latest visit, however long ago. For a period that runs to today, the number of working days since.
OrdersThe value of orders dated in the period, and how many.
CollectedMoney recorded as collected on visits in the period.
ClaimedEvery expense claimed for a day in the period.

The figures are counted the same way as on the employee report, so the numbers match when you open it.

Who needs attention

Someone needs attention when any of these is true:

  • They haven't logged a visit for 3 working days or more. If they never have, the reason says so.
  • They were out on fewer than half of their working days, once the period holds 3 or more.
  • Their visits fell by half or more against the same number of days before. This only applies when they had 6 or more visits before, so a small number dropping isn't called a trend.
  • 2 or more check-ins from before today are still waiting for a report.
  • They claimed expenses for a period with no visits in it.
  • They have no schools assigned and logged no visits.

For Last month, which is over, "no visit for 3 working days" is replaced by "No visits in this period".

How working days are counted

  • Monday to Saturday. Sunday is never owed. A visit on a Sunday still counts.
  • From the day someone joined. A rep added on Thursday hasn't missed Monday.
  • Days off are left out. A day the person's own travel plan marks as leave, a holiday or a weekly off isn't counted against them. A plan the manager rejected or declined doesn't count.
  • Today is never held against anyone. It isn't over yet.

The score

The score ranks people against the others on the list, never against a target. Six things count equally:

  • days out, as a share of working days
  • visits per working day
  • schools reached
  • order value
  • collections
  • titles adopted

For each one, a person scores higher the more of the list they are ahead of. Nothing done scores 0, even when nobody else did any either. The top third of the list are Doing well, as long as nothing under Who needs attention applies to them. Everyone else is On track.

Using rates for days and visits means a week of planned leave doesn't pull someone down.

How the standing is worked out, at the foot of the page, repeats these rules.

On the dashboard

The admin Dashboard shows a Needs attention card for the last 7 days. It names up to five people with their first reason, and links here for the rest.

Good to know

  • Only people still working here are listed. Someone made inactive is left out. Their history stays on the employee report.
  • Only the sales chain is compared. Administrators, warehouse staff and the accounts roles have no field work to judge.
  • The reasons are a prompt, not a verdict. A rep may have spent the week on work the app doesn't record. Open their report, or call them, before acting.
